Rhythm on the River at Rogers Grove
Dot Pecina’s oil paintings are displayed in a continuing monthly show through out the year at the Lincoln Gallery and in a special Lincoln Gallery Sweet-Art Show during February.
The St. Stephen’s 2010 Art Show is cosponsored by the Longmont Artists’ Guild and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and is held at the end of April each year. This is a Juried show. A Juror with extensive background in art and artistic expression judges the entries after they are hung and awards ribbon prizes. The Artists at the Gardens on Mother’s Day weekend at the Ute Trail Greenhouse will feature over 20 artists. You will be able to view paintings, jewelry, pottery, and much more while wandering through greenhouses filled with growing plants. The Longmont Studio Tour during September will feature Dot Pecina’s work along with three other artists at the Carriage House Art Studio and Gallery.

In 2002, Dot Pecina was commissioned by the City of Longmont to do the poster for the annual “Rhythm on the River” festival at Rogers Grove in Longmont, Colorado. In 2007, Dot Pecina was part of a delegation of artists who were invited to visit and show their work at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, China.
